Task Status Change

The Task Status Change module allows updating the progress stage of a task within the Task Manager system. It enables users to track work progress and inform the team about the current status of the task.

Module Structure

Task Status List

Task statuses are defined in the process configuration and may include, among others:

  • New
  • In Progress
  • Completed
  • Cancelled
  • To be supplemented
  • Other process-specific statuses

Status Information

Each task status change contains:

  • Current status
  • Status change date
  • User who made the change
  • Optional comment

Status Change Process

  1. The user opens the task details.
  2. Selects a new status from the list of available statuses.
  3. Optionally adds a comment regarding the change.
  4. Confirms the status change by clicking the “Change Status” button.

Effects of Status Change

  • The task status is updated.
  • Information about the status change appears in the task history.
  • Related users receive a notification about the status change.

Change History

Each status change is recorded in the task history:

  • User who made the change
  • Date and time of the change
  • Previous and new status
  • Comment on the change (if added)

Status Preview

The task details display the current status along with the full change history.
